Naresh Sharma's Story
For the past 30 years, voluntary blood donation has been more than just an act of service for me, it has become a lifelong commitment to humanity. Over the years, I have been fortunate to complete 127 voluntary blood donations, a journey that has shaped my understanding of compassion, responsibility, and the power of helping others.
One of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been the opportunity to donate blood across 21-22 states in India. Every donation, regardless of the place, carried the same purpose: to support someone in need and encourage a culture of voluntary blood donation in our society.
Through this experience, I have witnessed how a single unit of blood can bring hope to families during their most difficult moments. That realization kept motivating me to continue donating regularly and spreading awareness wherever possible.
Alongside blood donation, I have also remained actively involved in humanitarian and social service activities, including campaigns promoting awareness about thalassemia and the importance of regular voluntary donation. For me, these efforts are not just social work, they are a responsibility towards the nation and humanity.
Looking back, I feel grateful for every opportunity I received to contribute in a small way. And even today, my belief remains the same: if we are healthy and eligible, donating blood is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to save lives and serve society.
